Italian Cooperation supplies stock-out medicines in the Gaza Strip

For a total amount of 25,000 euro, 10 boxes containing 2.800 ampoules of Furosemide 20 mg and 2.800 phials of Vancomycin 500mg were delivered yesterday to the Central Drug Store of the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip.
The drugs were donated by the Italian Cooperation through the Humanitarian Programme’s funds, and delivered in coordination with the WHO (World Health Organization).
The medicines were requested by the Palestinian Ministry of Health, in order to address the dire health crisis following recent events in the Strip.
